Some years ago, my brother Gabriel García Planas invited me to join a cause that was close to his heart: transparency in the judicial system in Peru. Although my brother is no longer with us, his dream lives on through (SLAJ). With the guidance of our outstanding board members, SLAJ has been working to encourage practical ways to move beyond the persistent lack of confidence and transparency in the judicial system in Peru, and Latin America.
