Board Member Bios – Gabriel E. Larrieu Bellido
Gabriel E. Larrieu Bellido is a partner at the law firm of Larrieu & Larrieu Abogados in Lima, Peru. His practice involves the legal representation of both private and public entities in the tribunals of the Peruvian Republic. He has over 20 years experience in both civil and criminal law.
Mr. Larrieu has further developed his professional expertise by acting as the local representative for the Miami, FL based firm of Podhurst, Orseck, P.A. In this capacity, he has represented private entities as well as the Peruvian government in the courts of the United States.
Mr. Larrieu has studied at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and is a member of the Lima Bar Association. In the public arena, he was elected as a member of the council of the Miraflores City Hall, where he has served from 1996 – present.
Mr. Larrieu is the founder and was the President of the Centro de Estudios para el Desarrollo de la Justicia (ProJusticia) from 2003 to 2005, where he developed projects and led investigations which were supported by the Office of the American Technical Cooperation.
